I have a beautiful little 2 and a half year old Button named Billie, who is our family pet and lives in a cage in our living room alone. She has been fine up until tonight. I noticed she was standing still with her eyes open, so I assumed she was sleeping. However, she normally sits down sleeping, and when I went over to her she didn't open her eyes and walk around like she normally would.

I then noticed an egg in her cage. It had a big whole, about 1cm in diameter, and the insides of it seem to be on the other side of her cage, they are very pink / red in colour. I got her out and she didn't want to run around like usual. Then I noticed she's pooed on me, and it was a translucent yellow / green colour.

I really don't know if she is ok, and I'm worried. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

She may have broken the egg while passing it? Hard to tell from just reading. If so she may have an infection or the start there of, just a guess from the liquid you mentioned. Keeping her warm and unstressed is a great start like others mentioned. She may need an antibiotic if indeed she has an infection.
