She’s too weak to stand let alone bully anyone. She gets dog piled on in the pen with the others and they peck her and walk on top of her like she’s not there. My hens would probably kill her if I took her out there. I have one that already tried to take out two diff healthy chicks. Worse case she’ll have her own coop or I’ll gey her diapers and she can go out and about with me during the day. I will be taking her outside on outings though. I have a diff antibiotic coming in to try with her as wellI don't think she is in pain. She would have gone out with her friends if she were mine. I especially would have trouble adding month old chicks. Surprised she isn't bullying them. Each day bring new learning for me and I always see something unexpected.
But whatever seems to be working for you is fine! You might find she thrives better outdoors or not. But being out in fresh air with room to move around, would be my choice. I wouldn't keep her permanently indoors as a pet. That's a lonely life for a chicken. I know it's difficult to make those decisions. Best wishes whatever you decide!![]()
