Sick chick, need help

My 5-week old chick recently started showing signs of lethargy, not moving much and when she does she is very off balance, nearly falls over trying to walk and is walking very gingerly.

I separated her from the other hens and contacted the farm I got them from and they ruled out Marek’s disease because they’ve been vaccinated. I added some ACV to her water and she is still eating and drinking but I’m obviously concerned. This is day 4 now. Any help would be appreciated.

The Marek's vaccine does not prevent the disease.


What exactly has the chick been eating?
How long have you had the chick?


ACV isn't going to help. Plain water would be better.

I’ve had the chick for 5 weeks. She’s been eating medicated starter feed from the get go. I haven’t fed them anything else yet

Slightly green with a little white substance to it, pretty solid, consistent if nothing else. Not sure how much you can tell by this picture

No red color to it? Blood?

Yes, definitely no blood or anything that looks out of the normal. I’m just curious, have you had any experience with these types of symptoms in your chicks and it wasn’t mareks?
