Sick Chick

I'm new to NYC but have read many post here. I need some help please. I have a young rooster(rr) he is a sick fellow. This morning he was well but this evening he wouldn't stand and has white stuff coming from his vent. He has all his bum feathers Could he have vent gleet

Any other symptoms? What all did he have access to today?

I would definitely recommend isolation, plenty of fresh water. If possible, I would mix vitamins and electrolytes.

I already had him isolated because I introduced new hens a couple of weeks ago and took him out of the coop so they could establish their pecking order

Thanks I will try vitamins and electrolytes All my flock has been healthy so far. Going on 10 months now so I'm just not sure what this could be.

Put "vent gleet," in the searchbox - and compare his symptoms to that.
