My neighbor just got one week old lavender Orpingtons from a local breeder. One woke up sick today. It is weak and won’t eat or drink. Any ideas what she can do? IMG_1264.MOV

Sometimes sugar water can help. I usually put some on a paintbrush and then put it close to its beak

Electrolytes could be helpful. Those saved a chick of mine! You can put them in the water if it starts drinking again or you can put the water in a dropper and feed it from the dropper right to the beak. Remember to keep it warm and make sure the other chicks aren’t picking on it, unfortunately I don’t think there is much else you can do.
