I have a sablepoot chick that hatched under a broody, she was hatched on Monday. I recently found her laying on her side, legs up, nearly motionless. This happened twice. Picked it up, and she perked right up. I separated her. Not sure what is going on. She seems to be losing balance, and put her head on the floor, basically “rubbing” it. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

—Thanks!

I can't give much advice other than to go to a poultry vet or wait it out if it's just something simple, ( like my chick had ) so I'm commenting to boost the post!
Possibly something neurological, genetics, weak, something went wrong when hatching/incubation, etc...

Vitamin E and B complex for humans can also be given. Those can be helpful when dealing with newly hatched chicks having neurological symptoms. Is the chick walking normally most of the time?
She is mostly sleeping. She seems like she is doing better though :)

@Weeg -- You asked for the tag :p

How old is the chick? You may want to give it some Poultry Cell or Nutridrench for a boost. Those both have vitamins including E which can sometimes help with a neurological issue. Hopefully, this will pass.
Agreed. Vitamin therapy is probably the best thing to do here.

Not sure if I have Vitamin E. And if I did, how would I go about to feed it to her?
You can get some capsules for people at the store, just give her a full capsule. Open the capsule and squeeze the contents into her beak. Thats whats recommended for wry neck, but not sure if it is also what you want for this issue.
I would pick cup Vitamin E, and Poultry Cell like @Eggcessive suggested.
