Thank you!!! I think that's it but we're gonna get corid and antibiotics just in caseYes. Cold clammy skin is a symptom of heat stroke.
Photos of the whole pullet and her poop?
There hasn't been any real changes. We're noticing she will only eat mealworms and egg.Any update this afternoon?
Started corid yesterday. She only will eat worms and eggs. Isn't really drinking. Won't eat her feed or wet feed. Still lethargic. Feet are still cool. She is gobbling down egg though?Has she been given electrolytes yet? Any at all?
This seems heat related, and yes, a chicken can get heat stroke even with shade and water. It's life threatening so, it would be wise to give her this to cover this possibility.
The only other two possibilities are coccidiosis and bacterial infection. Corid in the water should be tried. A drench dose for the next three days should also be given.
It would be smart to try to locate an oral antibiotic in case these other measures don't work.
Still holding an eye shut, still lethargic. Started corid yesterday. Won't eat her feed but will chow on some eggs and worms. Won't really drink unless we dip her beak then she fights it anyways. They seem normal to me, do you have any pics with her legs in it before this all happened?
