Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I had a chick hatch about 20 hours ago that has a crooked neck. He walks with his head down and to the left I feel bad but am hoping it will get better. i have fixed them with bad leggs but bad neck.
Any ideas besides culling him out. Thanks for reading.
