Ok iam very new to this got my brooder box set up brought six new babies home from tractor supply and one died within 24 hrs it acted like it couldn't breath properly kept putting it beak in the air. The sales person at tractor supply had me purchase a antibiotic for there water and advised one teaspon to a gallon of water plus add a teaspoon of sugar my question is should i increase this amount in the water since i lost the one chick thanks for helping

'So sorry to hear about your loss. I would Not add any more supplements to their water at this point. Not having much else to go on from you, it may have been sick to begin with. Is your heat lamp at the proper height, did you just stick the tips of their beaks in the sugar water, etc..

sorry yeah i been keeping close eye on the temp everyone else is doing good is it typical for their stools to be a lil runny its consistently so just wondered i am just giving plenty of fresh plain water now as per your good advice thankyou!
