One of my 3 week old chicks has had consistently runny mustardy poo for the last few days. Yesterday she blew one out on my arm that was also watery. Today I cleaned out the brooder and added corid to the water. When I went home for lunch, everything looked wayyyyy better. Is it possible that it could have worked that fast? Did I jump the gun? Shall I continue with the corid for a few days to be safe?

If you catch it and treat it early, yes, you can see improvement very quickly. But do continue the full course of treatment for 5 days so they have a chance to build immunity. And no, you can never jump the gun and treat a suspected case of coccidiosis to fast! To wait for worse symptoms to appear is to risk chick death, when it comes to coccidiosis it's always better to be safe then sorry.
