Sick chicken hunched over

Yes, I would not soak her, since it can push an already weakened hen over the edge. I would get her completely dry with towels and a blow dryer. If she could be egg bound, give a dose of human calcium or Tums orally. How does her crop feel? Can you feel of it again early in the morning before she eats or drinks, to see if it has emptied, or if it is full and hard or squishy? The dark green dropping can be bile from not eating. Can you try to get her to eat some watery food or cooked egg?

Thank you! I just felt her crop and it is very squishy. I hate myself for not checking that! It's one of the most basic health check procedures.

I will dry her, I don't have Tums or calcium tablets, but I can ask my mom for some. Should I give her crushed up oyster shell just in case?

I'm so stupid I can't believe I didn't check her CROP! What can I do from here?

Does she have a bad or sour odor from her beak if you feel her crop? I would offer some water and mushy chicken feed, but very watery. Plain Greek yogurt with live cultures can be good to offer with her food or alone if she will take some. Miconazole or Monistat cream from a pharmacy or Walmart can be given twice a day. Don’t massage a squishy crop, since that can cause her to vomit and chi poke. Here is a good article on crop disorders which can be related to other disorders such as reproductive and others.
