Sick Chicken, not standing, panting Very Hot outside

well...
she passed her egg on her own, so that's a positive. She's in a box right by the couch. We fed her some water/electrolytes/vitamins and homeopathic (someone on BYC mentioned for mereks) and she's pretty quiet. Still can't stand, but not getting worse ?...no appetite etc. The fluid's were done with a needleless syringe. Not sure what to do at this point but wait her out. I'll go get more B vitamins tomorrow, I only had the mix on hand.

thanks for all the timely advice

You're so very welcome. Following in "Kim" from SVchicken's foot steps I shall now do what I can to give people who have chicks this problem a hope of chance for recovery by passing on the advice.

Day 2:

Her "ears" and comb are looking much better, yesterday her ears were white. She's breathing much much better and looking "perkier". She's still not standing and doesn't want to eat, but we've managed to get a bit of fluids (pediolite), multi-B's, and more hypericum homeopathic. We wait...

We have her in a box, she's laying there with her feet stretch out behind her/next to her. We tested her reflexes and the feet with "clench" around your finger but the toes curl under a bit. We're hoping she will be able to use them again.

Thanks again for the help and any other info/suggestions would be appreciated.

Be patient, your description sounds so much like Baby at her worst. Id like to send you a movie clip I made of Baby today so you can see her improvement after 4 days on vit B.
