I have a 3 year old NH red who recently had sour crop that was cured by mechanically emptying her crop and feeding scrambled eggs, garlic water, Greek yogurt, and slowly reintroducing her usual feed. I noticed that her poops have also been running and clear with white and green and I was thinking that she might have coccidiosis so I’m giving her corid in her water. She hasn’t been drinking or eating much so we’ve been giving it through a needleless syringe. She always seems to be very depressed and sad after so we think that it probably doesn’t taste the best. Otherwise, she has been making some relatively quiet, high pitched “screaming of sorts” so wasn’t sure about that. Her appetite has gone down a lot for sure since we started the medicine. Her energy seems to be a lot better than the beginning but after the medicine, she seems more quiet and dulled for about 20 minutes to an hour I’d say. She is certainly giving attitude at moments. When we first noticed that she was sick, she had ruffled feathers, lethargy, and seemed to be in bad spirits. We are on day 2 of the 5 day corid treatment so should we continue? Does she have coccidiosis? What should we do? I attached a picture of her poop from yesterday.
