18 week old barred pullet
Fine 48 hours ago (running around, eating, picked up didn't notice anything.)
24 hours ago wife picked bird up and she described it as having a seizure. wing drop, head to one side, legs odd after.
It mostly stood or sat back in coop till roosting time, then didn't go all the way to the high roost that 6 of the 7 roost on (the 7th is a fat Brahma 23 weeks old that doesn't fly well) it joined the brahma down one level.
Today it came out with the other birds, has taken water and some scratch. But is slower and doesn't always move with the flock, sometimes continues to stand and hide under the coop. Did not eat the big clod of grass I put in run like the others. makes medium level boooocking noise more often.
Started spring with 4 five week old pullets (from chicken swap) and added 6 hatchlings from feed store (mount Health Hatchery as origin.) This is one of the hatchlings. All supposedly had vaccinations including Marek's disease. One of the pullets was always a bit off and after a month seemed unwell one day out of nowhere and died the next night. Gave one of the "pullets" to my brother as it was a cockeral. Then lost another pullet 3 weeks ago, same thing seemingly healthy then not OK for 24 hours than dead that night.
The legs seem fine. no outward signs.
What should I do with this unwell bird? Seperate? Nothing. Take to vet?
What should I do for the rest of the flock?????? Will they just dwindle one a month????
