At 5 months old they should be started on a layer ration, so don't give the medicated feed, especially if it is over a month old. If I were you, I'd use the Corid treatment I mentioned in the previous post. We can go from there. Don't waste too much time. Corid is available from most any feed store.She haz never been treated... but i do have medicated chick starter. I think she had coccidiosis when she was younger but pulled through ( although she wasnt tested so couldve just appeared like bloody poop at the time)). I looked quite closely at her today but honestly im quite clueless...so i may not have notived an obvious sign of a mite. i will investigate further in the morning and keep you posted. Should i try giving her medicated feed in the mean time? Im not sure how easy it will be to come by Corid (if it comes to that). Thanks Michael apple
