Sick chicken

Hello! I am new to having chickens and to this forum. I'm having trouble finding answers. I have a chicken with white goop and swollen eye. She also has mucous in her beak whiteish in color. I have isolated her and started her on 800 mg of duramiacin (spelling) in her water and Terramycin in her eye. I've read that we may have to put her down. I'm worried I didn't get to her in time and don't want her to suffer. Please help if you can

Sorry that you didn't get an answer earlier. Usually those symptoms can be a sign of a respiratory sinus infection called mycoplasma (MG,) coryza, or a secondary E.coli infection in the eye. If you don't see improvement with the Duramycin in a couple of days, I would either switch to Tylan 50 injectable, given orally, or seek a vet's help. Tylan 50 dosage is 1 cc or ml per 5 pounds of weight, or 1/2 cc for bantams. Give it orally or as an injection into the breast muscle 1/4 inch deep. Pictures of the eye may help. Thank you so much! I appreciate the help so much. I just started it last night so I will switch meds in a few days if no improvement. She's eating and acting mostly normal so that's good I'm sure. I'll try to get a good pic of her. Thank you!
