I have a black Jersey giant hen that isn't acting right. Her tail has been curled between her legs for months now and today I just noticed that her feet and shanks are green. She has a great appetite, but mostly just sits down. I have taken her out of the coop so she is not with any other chickens. I'm not sure what it could be

Welcome to BYC. Can you post any pictures of her legs? Could she have some easter egger blood which could explain the green legs? Is she walking okay? Has she been laying eggs recently? If she is older, not laying, snd prefers to sit around, she may have an internal laying problem or salpingitis. These are common in hens over 2.

Yes I can. Could you explain how I can upload a photo? We have 4 other black Jersey Giants and none of them have green legs and she didn't used to also. She has not been laying any eggs recently. She is about 2 1/2 years old. She stands up bit doesn't walk well at all. She uses her wings to help her walk a very short distance.
