Sick Chicken!

I have a lavender orpington that has "Cankers" and i dont know anything about this?! can anyone tell me the best cure i can use for her?!?!?!?!
There is a foul odor with canker sores located in or around the mouth, beak or sinus cavities. They are necrotic looking. Treatment is metronidazole. Then followed up with monthly treatments of acidified copper sulfate mixed in water. Canker is very contagious to other chickens.

Give one 250mg tablet metronidazole orally in the morning and one in the evening. Do this for 5 days.

Then once a month provide acidified copper sulfate to all your birds in a plastic waterer. Dosage is 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water for three days straight. Make the mixture fresh each day. Do not overdose. This will keep the protozoa in check.
