help my chicken has been making these schzzt schzzt noises and shakes his head when he does. The other day i saw water coming out his nose. Is he sick what do i do to make him stop?

Welcome to BYC. Does it sound like a sneeze? It could be that he has a respiratory infection. Infectious bronchitis and MG are common ones, and there are others with more symptoms. Does he sound congested or rattly when he breathes. Look at his eyes to to see if one appears watery or has bubbles. Sometimes chickens can sneeze from getting feed into their nostrils. Make sure there is good ventilation where he is kept, no dust or mold.

no congested or rattly breathing no watery eyes or bubbles. He had this for close to a month now. His breed is old english silver duckwing bantam. I did not hatch him so i do not know how old he is. To me he is about between medium and small size.

He and others should be fed a balanced chicken feed with 16 to 20% protein. Flock raiser would be good for a rooster. Hens would still need some crushed oyster shell Do you have other chickens? Corn and rice are pure carbs, corn having only 7% protein. Not a complete feed, nor does it have proper nutrients. They also need granite poultry grit to digest grains and grasses. I would feel of his crop to see if it is full and hard, or puffy.

The crop (some call it the craw) is located in the right upper chest, and is where the food is stored for a short period after it is eaten. It usually empties overnight, and should be hard to feel in early morning. If it feels hard and full, or puffy in early morning, their may be a crop problem, such as impacted crop or sour crop. Grit helps them digest grass and whole grains.
