and what kind of eye wash do you recommend so I can stop by at the pet store tommorow?

You can use eye wash or saline from a drug store, or Vetericyn plus eye wash or eye gel from a feed or pet store. The eye wash may be fairly inexpensive at drug stores or Walmart in the eye care aisle.

ok thank you I will go buy it. When I get it do i pry open its eyes and wash it by hand (with gloves on). But im probably going to get the Vetericyn plus eye wash. If I cant find it then im going to walmart but still do i pry its eyes open and wash it by hand?

Just open the eyes and drip some of the eye wash into the eyes. Wipe the outside with a tissue. There should be instructions on the label.

sorry for this late post but it worked i bought the vetericyn eye plus and it worked. now he roams happily outside in my backyard. Thank you so much and I can try to send a picture of him if u would like
