About 4 weeks ago we noticed one of our chicken acting dull and lethargic.
We also noticed that she was walking funny (bow legged). Her stomach area was firmer than normal.

At first we thought she might be egg bound, we soaked her in epsom salt for roughly a week and didn't find that helpful.

A week into it, I noticed 'clear' liquid coming out of her mouth. She was not eating much and her pooped turned yellowish-green (neon green).

Called a vet and the vet said that she probably has liver disease and based on her symptoms, her chances were slim.

Since then, I started giving her Rooster Booster and electrolytes, kept her inside, switched her food to crumbles as I noticed her excreting solid grain/seed etc in her poop.

3 to 4 days into that regimen, and she started feeling better. Her poop started looking normal, she became active and wanted to go outside.

We let her out during the day and brought her back inside at night. 2 days into her going outside, she started feeling bad once again and lethargic symptoms along with odd poop (however, this time the poop consistency is different but it does not look neon-greenish). Doesn't look like she is digesting the regular food we are giving to the rest of the flock.

She is back inside and back on grower crumbles. I have been giving her cooked lentils, rice (containing turmeric). She once again appears to be getting better but certainly not 100%.

Has anyone seen this behavior? if so any advise/suggestion will be helpful.

Do you have pictures of the poop?

It might be worthwhile to send in some fecal samples for testing. Ask your vet if they can do this for you. If nothing else you could eliminate worms as an issue, and they may even be able to look for/tell you something else from the look of the poo.
