Hi All - I have a conundrum. I'm having trouble keeping one of my layers healthy. 6 months ago I found her on the coop floor with her toes curled up and unable to walk. I brought her into the garage. Gave her a heat lamp. Her own food and drink. And dosed her with ivermectin. Within a week she was back on her feet and looking healthy. A month goes by and this happens again. Same situation. I brought her in, warmed her up, made sure she had plenty of food and water and dosed her again with ivermectin. She was doing well so I sent her outside again but this time I sent her to her own space (concerned about mites and possibly being picked on by others). It's been a month and this has happened a THIRD time. She's on the older side of things by not my oldest by any means. Am I missing something here? Is it just time to cull her and call it good? Or is there something else I can try to get her back on her feet? Edited to add: no one else in the main coop is having this issue or showing signs of illness over the past 6 months since the first time she fell ill.
