sick chicken

my chicken is coughing and acting funny, she also had a little saliva on her beak today, Im not totally sure what it is, if anyone has any ideas Id like to know how to get her better. thank you very very much

Coughing is normally and indication of a respiratory infection. I would start putting Apple Cider vinegar along with a clove of garlic in her water ASAP. 1 tsp of ACV per gallon.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Many people believe that it prevents or cures chicken diseases. It won't hurt your chicken.

Don't put it into a metal container, it reacts with metal. Don't use it if you are putting any other medication or treatment in the water.

Re ACV: It is organic apple cider vinegar, not the distilled pasturized vinegar in the grocery store. It must have the "mother," in it to be helpful. However, I do not think ACV will cure a respiratory infection, if that is the case.
