I use Diotomacious Earth as a wormer... no holding back on eggs when you use all natural cures. Just every month or so (i'm not so strict on these things) I add it to their food for 3 days straight. Never had a problem. Make sure to get "food grade" DE... it is safe for them to injest. I use DE also for dust bathes for them, and even add it to their coop floors and perches to get lice and mites and anything else bug wise.

If you flock is doing fine you dont have to rush with the worming...its up to you. I would recommend it...If you dont want to wait you could find a way to worm half you flock, and when the waiting period is over worm the other half of you flock...But none of us are with your birds so your the one that really has to make that decision. Im glad your birds better

I first bought wazine to worm my flock and then read the bottle. I'm sorry to sound like a nature nut... but I'm not giving it to my chickens. I have never had a problem with worms with even my cats and dogs since I started using DE. Proven it to me! It even got rid of my fire ant issue around the coops!

Well I got the wazine as soon as I heard & it worked. Goldie is her old self and out running w/ the flock like old times! Thank you all soooo much for your input for us novice chicken lovers! She hasn't laid any yet but I don't care if she never laid again as long as she is better. She is more than just a chicken she is a great pet- with personality! I will post when she finally does lay. Thanks again!
