1) Ameracuna 5 years old. Day 5, stopped eating and drinking yesterday. Thinner than the other (4).
2) Isolating and fluffing day 1, immediately quarantined. Wanted to get out day 1-2, then became listless but was still eating and drinking. Electrolytes, vitamins, oregano, turmeric, feed and scrambled eggs. whatever I could get her to eat.
3) Day 5
4) 4 other birds seem ok. Lost two previous to this in the past weeks. Tore coop apart, bleached and vinegar and dried it out and keep everyone out for 2 days. Now the 4 are back in and this one is isolated.
5) No Trauma, just normal then all came down with something that has stopped them in their tracks and killed them in 5-7 days.
6) Unsure of anything that happened besides something is killing them. This one will get a necropsy if it doesn’t make it. I didn’t know about that option with the other two.
7) Today nothing should I force feed it?
8) Very little poop if any, not eating
9) Just natural herbs stated above and electrolytes and wormer/vitamins from the feed store.
10 ) Need antibiodics to try. Vet busy and cannot take birds right now. 2 weeks out so this one needs help.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) In a crate on the porch with a light. Using papertowel bedding so I can clean it frequently.

Central California. Been hot hot like 100s and then rained a little and now warming again in the day. How can I treat it?

That presents a perfect environment for coccidia. Buy some liquid Corid at your feed store. Time is of the essence. More chickens could die if you don't get them started on the Corid quickly.

Mix two teaspoons liquid Corid into one gallon of drinking water and give for five days as the only water source. For any sick chickens, give the drench dose of around .5ml undiluted Corid directly into the beak by oral syringe once a day for three days in addition to the Corid drinking water.

Do not give any vitamins containing B-1 thiamine during treatment as they will nullify the treatment.
