Okay all, I got another report the other day. It looks like there may be MG after all, but that they may have been sick with infectious bronchitis. Here comes a lot of information... I’m going to call tomorrow to ask the vet what he suspects.

It can be common to have both infectious bronchitis and another respiratory disease (mycoplasma and others) at the same time. These secondary infections make the initial problem worse.

At the top of the 1st and 2nd pages it says that MG and MS were positive by the PCR test. MG is mycoplasma gallisepticum, mostly a respiratory disease, and MS is mycoplasma synoviae, a disease that causes infection and swelling of the joints.

:frow @AnneInTheBurbs What was the final report?

Looks like the "adult chicken" (not the silkie or marans) is the only one that tested positive for both MG and MS correct?
And the Marans tested pos for IBV?
