Help ...This has happened one other time and similar circumstances...I bought a different feed and now 2 of my RIR are listless, Pale combs, and waddle when they walk while tucking under their tails...I've switched back to other feed but last time I lost 2. Also watery puce colored poop.

I would scramble them some eggs, they have a lot of protein in them. You can put Vitamins/Electrolytes in their water. Isolate them and give them a warm place to stay. You can also feed them some oatmeal with peanut butter. Yogurt is very good for them also. Most members say to use the plain yogurt.

Found one dead this am and put to others in isolation...feed yogurt....I also found mites on all the eggs a hen was sitting on so am dusting again...could it be related to them critters? Although I've never had mites before and lost some the same way...ALL rhode Ilands that pass all my other breeds are acting fine????

I keep a jar of probios on hand and give my animals that. I even give it to the chickens . It says to give them 1/4 tsp mixed in their food. I had to change feeds as well and my young buff orps got a watery poop so I gave them the probios and the next day they were fine. I have given it to my goats, dogs, cats, pigs and horses. When a animal has a digestive problem its the best and works fast. TSC has it. It also stops throwing up. My golden has a very delicate stomach . Any change in his feed will result in him throwing up. The probios stops it ASAP. I cant answer about the mites s my birds have never had them but I have heard that it can kill them if untreated.
