Sick chickens

My whole flock is sneezing and has lice. At night they all make wheezing sounds. One standard chicken has yellow diarrhea. Our bantam silkies have bubbly eyes and one has swelling under one eye. We've bathed them all and cleaned and sanitized coops. We feed them organic food and they free range. Id love an organic approach but more than anything I just want them better. Make it go away!!! Poor babies! Any suggestions???

Lice are easy to clean up, but not organically. You need to consider the more ominous ailment of the respiratory disease before you decide whether or not to treat the lice. A great many poultry keepers have a zero tolerance policy for respiratory diseases because they are generally highly contagious and render any bird that should recover from them a carrier for life.

I would contact your state vet and ask for some testing to be done on your flock to establish exactly what ailment they are suffering from. Once the results of the testing come back, you can make an informed decision of what route to take with your flock.
