Hi all!
I purchased a few breeds of chicks in the spring and ended up with 2 cornish cross hens.
They are now 17 weeks old, however one was always quite skinny / bony and the other deffinately large and healthy.
The smaller one has always eaten and drank and never gave us a reason to be concerned as it seemed fairly healthy, just smaller.

Today things took quite a turn. Out of no where she wouldn't move, and seemed quite lethargic so we separated her. Things went down hill quite fast and I just can't seem to figure out what would have caused this.

I've checked for mites / lice.
Never saw worms in her stool.
She did have diarrhea here and there but always a brownish color. No blood. And some firmer brown/white poops.

Had she been sick from the get go? Are there known illnesses in these chickens?
Should I be worried about the rest of the flock (though they do.seem quite happy and healthy).

Sorry for the rant... I just want to be better prepared incase this happens again.

Unfortunately she did pass... :(
