At the Lonely Mountain with the dwarves
I got a Cornish chick that I think has a slipped tendon. My Aunt picked up 15 Cornish X from CAL Ranch and they threw in this extra chick that they said had spraddle leg. At the store she was more active eating and drinking. Now she wont hardly eat, drink and barely potties, but when she does go its normal. She barely moves and almost never opens her eyes. I have poly-vi-sol water that I dip her beak in, I also gave it to her directly. She sleeps all the time. She wont stand up and she wont walk. She is 3 weeks old and separated from all the others. She doesn't really have a voice and sometimes makes a clicking type sound. She seems to breath heavy but I don't know if that's normal for meat birds. I need any advice to try and help her.

This is what I do. Keep her separated so she can get unencumbered access to food and water. Keep both close by so it doesn't have to walk. Make sure the feed is high in protein. In another week it will probably be big enough to process as a Cornish game hen.
Make sure she isn't too hot and give plenty of ventilation.

Thanks, I will put the feed and water closer. I will give her some yogurt as well

Thanks for your help, but she just died
