Thank you Silkie, you have all been so wonderful. Im hoping its an isolated event as well. Everyone else seems happy. I'll get the poo tested just to be sure and for piece of mind. Its worth $20 for me

Good news, I guess? Fecal float was clear. All is well on this end.

Someone said to add apple cider viniger to their water? Can someone explain this to me?

I know I'll have so many questions, I really appreciate your help!

Once I get the hang of this, I'll post a photo of the girls

I was going to suggest you take the bird to the state vet for a necropsy, but it looks like you've got that under control.

It could have been so many things. It's so hard to say. Sometimes they just die. I've worried myself sick over these things, just like you, and I know it's hard to think like that. Hopefully the vet will have some sort of news for you... some piece of mind. I've found when they come back with something I couldn't have prevented, I feel a lot better.

MissPrisssy, and everyone else, Thank you so much for your help. I added a bit of apple cider to their water, they seem to LOVE it!
I put a "here is me", post in the me, my family section of the forums....We havent had the best weather so I wasnt able to include the best photos of the kids. But you get the idea....

Thanks again!

Just an update. Everyone is doing fine. No news from the state vet yet, but Im assuming no news is good news. I have been slowly letting the littler guys hang out in the coop/run with the older ones. Things are going ok, just a few pecks here and there, a little one will let out a horrid yell and run off....but I guess they are just getting the pecking order straight. I leave them out little bits at a time, then put them up. So far so good! They are 10 week old BR, does anyone think its too soon?

Debbie
