Sick duck, being treated for aspergillosis

Ok so Birdie update, last night she was miserable kept me up most of the night not being able to breath, so regretfully I made her an appointment with the vet for tomorrow morning to be put down. I decided after my phone call to see if she would eat her favorite food (cherry tomatoes) one last time before the morning, I cut them in fourths she gobbled it down so I cut up more till she couldn’t eat no more and then watched her struggle for breath after for a long while. I was going out to start digging her hole, got a text my horses were coming home, decided that might not be good as broken legs, so I just work for a little while, came home checked on Birdie, she decided that the spot I had for her was not good enough so she was in the kitchen dunking her bill in the water and drinking so I try some more tomatoes she once again gobbles them up lost her breath but not as long. I gave her the medicine, she is now closed bill breathing more, trying to eat her actual duck food, she can balance herself once again on one leg and preen, still gets out of breath but not as long and as I decided and told her I was canceling her vet appointment and she was a Crazy Bird, in the most pitiful mad, instead of her deap throated quack it was more of a high pitch kinda quack like sound, but I got the point, she wants to live. So I think pretty soon there will be some major improvements! Thanks for all the help! I will hopefully eventually be able to show everyone the happy Birdie with a much better quack!

Lol and I’m trying to go to sleep, this is all I get.

Just wanted to give an update, unfortunately on April 25, my Birdie lost the fight and left this world. She is now with my boy waiting for me.
