Let the flock out today and notice cookie a female runner was walking strangely next seemed odd n was unsteady on her feet , brought her in the house gave her a warm bath and put her under the heat lamp , I've stroked her and touched her neck n she moved out of my touch they all ate snails last night as we had a lot of rain do u think she might have one stuck?
Also she been lowering her bottom to the ground :(

I don't know. I have never had a sick duck like that. Only a goose, and it died after two days. I don't think they show weakness like that, unless they feel really bad.

I hope someone can help, and it gets better.

How old are they? is she eating drinking okay?

They are 15 weeks old she is drinking now but not really eating
Do you have any poultry vitamins? too young to be going into lay. try making a mash with her feed, just a small amount to see if she is interested. warm water and feed mixed together. how does her poop look?

Was a little white n watered but now it's a lump , yes got some vitamins
I'd get her started on some vitamins and try to get her to eat, maybe even mash up some peas into her feed just to entice. she may have a tummy ache from the snails but sometimes my ducks gorge on earth worms when we find a big cache and as far as I know something they would eat naturally hasn't hurt them. So hopefully with a little TLC from you today and she'll be feeling back to normal real soon, make sure not to over heat her, she may not need the heat lamp. Also when you had her in the bath how was she? did she swim at all use her legs? act like she enjoyed it? she might could use a probiotic mixed into her water also it would soothe any tummy ache she may have.

Hopefully just over indulging on those snails. Glad to hear she is feeling better.
