Sick goose, I think

My ducks and geese have a 20,000 square foot pen, but I have to keep the geese separated because the ganders bully my older elderly birds. Their pen is 10x10.

Any thoughts on how to keep my ganders from attacking ME?

Carry a long stick or pole or broom to keep them away from you. When breeding season starts here, and I already see the attitude in my gander I carry the broom with me to make him get out of my way. Mine is a biter. I just push him away with the broom and I use a broom handle or bamboo pole to keep him that far away from me and the dogs which he loves to nip too.

I usually just pick the ganders up a high them. They go away after that. They don't like being picked and hugged. Lol
