Ohhh! Thank you!!!I think it means pull back a little on the syringe to make sure you're not injecting into a blood vessel. If you see blood come back into the syringe, don't inject there.

Ok, I can. I'd trust you to calculate it out so whatever you think. My vet doesn't really specialize in birds so she may have made a small mistake or something.Show this to your vet:

These are the two most common doses I have read about vets giving:
0.13 ml for a 5 pound bird is not enough, imo.
- 10 mg/kg - No less than 0.045 ml per pound twice a day for 3-5 days.
- 15 mg/kg - No more than 0.068 ml per pound twice a day for 3-5 days.
