Sick Hen - 24 weeks old HELP!

This is my first post to BYC. I have a 24 week old EE (bantam I think, although not what I ordered). For a few days she has had VERY watery very green poop. Today she is very sleepy, both of her wings are droopy and she has very smelly poop stuck to her butt. There is no blood in her stool, her crop doesn't fell full, no mites that I see, no egg that I can feel (she has not laid her first yet). her belly feels full of liquid. I've isolated her for tonight. Does anyone know what might be wrong or what I can do to make her better?

Have you wormed them lately?

I really don't know.. She sounds like she has internal laying, but that doesn't seem possible with her age.

Possible uterine infection from an egg breaking inside her?

Maybe I feel this way because I just nursed one back to health with the same symptoms. I think it was a uterine infection. I found a broken egg in the pen, and she was acting very off. Nearly no poop at all, she was all fluffed up and lethargic. No blood. She wouldn't eat, drink or walk around. I forced her to eat for a few days and gave her antibiotics for any possible infection. She came in the house on Friday (though I first noticed symptoms on Thursday), was close to death on Saturday, seemed the same on Sunday, Monday she still seemed really sick and would not eat, by Tuesday she was picking through spilled food (though not eating it), Wednesday she was FINALLY eating, and Thursday she was 90% back to herself. Friday 100%. She is laying again. Happy and healthy.

So make sure she eats and drinks. Keep her secluded. Possibly treat her with antibiotics or deworm her.

Usually chickens don't show they are feeling off until they can't control it anymore. Usually they are close to death. She is the only one I have ever managed to save after showing signs of illness.

You do not need blood in the stools for it to be Cocci. It could be this. Everyone suggested this could have been the problem for my pullet. It wasn't though.. At least I doubt it. She wouldn't have made it through if it was. She was SO close to death. She was lying on her side in the playpen.

I have not wormed them, but I do put DE in their food. She's been off for a few days but still eating and going outside. What do you suggest for antibiotics?

I used Tetracycline (water soluble powder). It's all our feed store offered.

I went to the farm supply, they only had DI-METHOX and Wazine 17. Does anyone know if I can I put both in her water as I'm not really sure what she is sick with?
She stinks to high heaven, I'm going to give her a bath.

Nice and warm. That will help if it is internal laying.

Mix her water with food and make it very runny. This way she has to take in more than just water.

I'd get safeguard goat wormer liquid or safeguard horse paste. Worm her with either 1/2 cc down the mouth of the liquid or a pea size drop of the paste. Do this for five days. Repeat in fourteen. Coccidia could still be an issue as well...I use Corid for that...

Can you mix these medications together? I'd be afraid of over medicating.

I really hope she makes it. I am thinking of her

I have given them together many times....but it's possible. Sometimes when chicks are very ill you don't have time to choose which is the correct one....it's hit and miss.

Could she be egg bound or sick? She hasn't laid any so far. 1 have 2 other hens, 1started laying 2 weeks ago and the other started 2 days ago.
