Sick hen, funny colored egg?

My Penedesenca started acting sick yesterday right after one of my leghorns got sick and died suddenly. I panicked and separated her from the flock. She seems to be doing better today and I found this egg in the crate she's in. Her symptoms yesterday were lethargy, eyes would close, head would get droopy, would let me pick her up when she's normally not approachable. Could the coloring of this egg mean that she was struggling to lay? And would the struggle have caused her to act sick? It's only her 3rd egg.

Not at all unusual for new layer to lay some funky eggs in the first month or so.....
but if she acting sick and you've just had one die, this bird could be sick too.

Separating her from the flock is probably not going to help and may stress her further,
unless she is being picked on excessively,
as she has already been exposed to whatever disease killed the leghorn(if it did die of disease).

Only time and observation will tell the tale.
