Sick hen, need advice

It won’t let me send a video but she’s not touching the scrambled egg and she’s doing a weird head and neck jerking movement she’s now standing with her eyes closed.......
I don’t think she’ll make it, seems to me she’s eventually have a seizure
She’s just been sick three times in the space of 40 seconds

For video, upload to youtube and provide a link - the BYC upload does not work.

Was her crop empty/flat this morning before she had anything to eat/drink?
Did you feel of her abdomen between her legs/below the vent for fluid/bloat or swelling?

Weird head and neck movements sound like a crop issue which is often a symptom of an underlying condition.

I may have to put her out of her suffering. I can’t do anymore than I already have...she’s not eating at all, she’ll look at it and then throw up. It’s not fair for me to keep her like this 😔

Update- I’ve been looking at her closely and doing more research, at first I thought it was gapeworm but because she puked clear liquid and still is interested in food (yet not eating) it could be a sign of sour crop, so I’m going to flip her upside down and massage her crop with her head down so she vomits to empty her crop sack and then give her some yoghurt. I’m going to give her some apple cider vinegar in her water and see what she’s like.

Okay, so my mother in law helped me massage the hens crop upside down and a lot came out (well I thought was a lot) and this big bit came out too. I’ve left some yoghurt out for her to eat aswel as apple cider vinegar in her water. She’s roaming with her sister so I shall check on her later. But maybe it was that that was stuck in her crop and made her unwel? It’s got a smell to it too.

The last picture looks like a cecal dropping. Are you sure that she vomited that? It can be dangerous to make a chicken vomit or to massage a puffy full crop. The crop contents can be aspirated into the airway. Sour crop can be difficult to treat since it can be from a fungal infection or a bacterial infection. It is best treated by a vet. Mist of the cases I have seen have been a result of an impacted crop that has gone bad over time, or from a secondary issue, such as a reproductive infection. Here are some articles about crop problems:

I’ve done a lot of research on this and how to do it properly without stressing out the hen, Since I done this she has been roaming around, she’s had yoghurt and pecking at the food so she’s beginning to eat again which is great to see as she wasn’t eating at all, her head and neck jerking has stopped so the thing in the picture definitely came out of her as it wasn’t there when I started.

myself and my partner are farmers and deal with lambs, sheep and pigs so we’re very do it ourselves kind of people and we only bring the vet out in emergencies.
I shall update you all in the morning to see how she seems xx
