Came home to see my 2 year old EE Ruby was standing under the tree by herself, not coming for oats, then she slowly walked over. I noticed her bum feathers looked a little dirty with some clearish droppings. I checked her vent and it was pushing like she was egg bound so I got a glove and checked inside her, no egg. But she went into the nest and was squatting, and keeps pushing like she’s got something inside her. I brought her inside and she periodically keeps open mouth breathing and pushing. Her crop is full, and she ate some Greek yogurt with oats, but she’s pooping these really small droppings. Not sure what I should do for her at this point? My vet is closed until Monday so off course I’m freaking out. She’s one of my favorite girls, never has any laying problems but does lay very large eggs. And laid an egg yesterday. Any advice would be great, I’m including photos of her droppings and her. Thanks

OH My I hope you can figure out what wrong with your girl, but just wondering if she could have a blockage some where beyond the crop
I am new to raising chickens, but if she isn't digesting food from her crop then she wouldn't have much in the way of droppings..
I do have a lot of experience with Parrots

She laid a soft shelled egg right after I posted this!!! She must have been having issues and then it finally passed!!!! I’m keeping her inside tonight to monitor her and make sure she’s okay, she was eating some yogurt and feed a few minutes okay so let’s hope she’s on the up

So glad she laid the egg! Since you have a vet, you should call Monday morning, explain what happened, and ask them what you should do it it happens again.

Hi, it sounds as if the second soft shell egg was the problem, like you said,
just monitor her. If you still think she is the same, maybe a soak in bath,
will help, until you ring your vet. Fingers crossed, she is a beautiful girl.
