One of my red sexlink hens has become ill. Usually the most active of the bunch she took to just standing in one place with droopy wings and fluffed feathers. I’ve checked for external parasites, probed her vent for bound eggs, nothing. I have isolated her and given her water with vitamins and vinegar and given her wet bread to eat to help her hydrate. She does have diarrhea I’ve noticed that since she’s been in quarantine. All the hens free range every other day or so. Maybe she ate something odd. Any thoughts and suggested greatly appreciate.

So I kept the “sick” hen isolated four 3days with vitamins and such till she seems fine. Reintroduced to flock.....2 more sexlinks and 2 buff Orpington. She looked and acted normal then he’ll broke loose. The 2 remaining sexlinks attacked her viscously. Now the buffs. Is it because she’s new or because shes weak?

I'm sorry you're having trouble.

Hard to know why they are attacking her...is she still not well?
You may want to cage her within the coop/run for her protection.

Crop emptying? Any swelling/bloat? Has she laid an egg?
Can you post some photos of your hen and her poop?

What's her crop like? Is it empty in the morning before she eats/drinks?
