I'm sorry about your hen.
Sadly, internal/reproductive problems are very common in laying hens. Even with supportive care there's not a lot you can do but try to make them comfortable like you were doing.

If she has a mass inside her, it could be from lash material, a blocked gizzard, cancer, or a number of things. Having another primary illness causing decreased activity can make for a good environment for flies to cause flystrike. Even if her flystrike problem is better, she still could be dying.
