Sick hen

LAST UPDATE: I was able to find a vet for her. Will be taking her to cross the rainbow bridge and be at peace.

UPDATE #2: Does anyone have recommendations for where I can take my girl to put her down? I’m located in Cincinnati OH 45227. My poor girl is having a hard time breathing and I don’t want her to suffer anymore.

UPDATE: I think the bone like thing I was feeling is normal, after reading more and re-examining her it seems likely that it is water belly


Not sure what happen but my hen seems unable to walk/move, breathing very heavy with her eyes shut. Her belly has something hard, feels like bone, extending from it. She seems really out of it, not sure what to do.

i'm an ametur with crop and digestive stuff, but it could be constipation.. i hear they get a lump between legs that makes it hard to walk, but listen to the professionals
