Sick Hen

I have a hen who is less than a year old (already started laying), who has been quarantined for over a week now because I found her unable to walk or move without falling over, otherwise seemed fine. I started with keeping food and water at her level and she was eating good, not drinking ok. I gave her Epson Salt baths, scrambled her some eggs, and kept a close eye. I started with electrolytes with vitamins in her water 3 days ago. She is now beginning to move around slowly but now not really eating; however drinks a lot of that vitamin water. Her poop is watery and she regurgitates liquid, has her mouth open most the time.

When was her last egg? Could you give her a human calcium tablet with d3, or a Tums in case she could be egg bound? I would stop soaking her since that could push her over the edge. How does her crop feel? Can you check it early in the morning before she has food or water? Is it full and squishy or empty? Have you had any cold weather? Do you her any pictures of her and her legs? I would mix up a bit of mushy watery chicken feed and a small bit of cooked egg to offer her.

We’re in Colorado mountains so yea it’s cold! I feed good quality feed, use roosties chili mix, nesting herbs, I feel like i do all the preventatives. I’m so confused!

I'd give her the Extra Calcium as suggested, see if she is able to expel an egg or lash material.

She's drinking a lot, is her crop emptying?

Was her crop empty and flat this am? What do her poops look like? Pictures are helpful.
