sick hen

I have a 3 year old White Crested Black Polish Hen that has 1 swollen waddle and 1 side of her neck is swollen. I have treated her for mites and have that cleared up but she hasnt been eating alot so i have been hand feeding her scratch and medicated feed which all my chickens get. I have been giving her sugar water with a crushed baby asprin in it and she drinks that really well. I was just wondering if anyone might know about the swollen waddle and side of her head and the tenderness shes experiencing as she has a very hard time turning her head to clean her feathers>

Pics would help, it almost sounds like an infection has set in. Antibiotics might be in order.

what type of antibiotics would be acceptable for her condition?
