We're first time owners and have a mixed flock. We've had one chicken that was introduced about 1 week after the others and was a bit smaller. They are all just over 8 months now. Anyways this one seems to be being picked on as of late. She was always more timid and hung back but now she really just hangs out mostly in one spot with her head tucked down into her shoulders and her eyes half closed. She's not being picked on constantly but once and a while one of the other hens will come over and give her a peck. This is how she usually is but her head is usually more tucked down:

So I guess the question is what should we do? Do we try to separate her for a while? Do we separate the main aggressor?
Anything would help. Thanks

She looks sick. The hens may be pecking her to say "Hey, what's a matter?" Consider worming her. Her face and comb seem pale. You could try separating her but know that when you go to reintroduce her, it'll be like introducing a new bird again.
