Can someone help quickly.
Ive had chickens for years but am having a problem ive never seen before.
One of my hens was off colour and standing still. I picked her up and she vomited a little water.
I had her in the house overnight.
I picked her up in the morning and she threw up more water.
I took her outside, held her upside down and massaged her crop. This resulted in what seemed like gallons of blackish water being vomited.
After this she seemed to pick up, ate and drank a little but not herself.
She is passing what seems like water from her vent.
In the last hour she seems to of gone downhill again.
Have tried massaging crop again with no results.
The crop does not feel hard or impacted.
Ive had the old girl a few years so am loathe to wring her neck.
Any clues anyone

Ive never come across this before. I didnt notice her breath smelling that bad. What would be the best treatment for sour crop. If I dont do something soon I think we will lose her. She feels so light and underweight. My hens are pretty much free range so I dont get to handle them all that much but she feels as if theres nothing to her.
