So you’ve made your decision.
That’s your business not mine.
I think people should think twice about acquiring animals they cannot afford to care for.
Ditto for children and lifestyle choices, and the decision to take on a “ ridiculously high mortgage “.

Last time I checked we were here to help those that asked for help. Especially those who couldn't take their animals to a vet. (There are tons of people on here that can't take their animals to the vet) We're not here to criticize and judge someone else when they are worried and asking for help.

And no one should judge anyone for helping an animal and their decisions over it. I have 5 ducks, 3 cats, and 2 dogs - all except 1 cat and the twins are rescues that I got off the street or from some place they wouldn't have survived. I have no job <still looking> and about to have no place to live, but my choice is what little bit.of money I make goes to buying them.food first because i have no one else to care for other then them. If i had children then they'd be first and i totally get that.
I can't even get a place to rent that is affordable because of my credit and the places that dont req credit are ridiculously high too. But billscome first, other wise the animals and humans have no place to live let alone food. *hugs*
My animals only go to the vet in extreme emergencies, I can't afford the annual stuff and the 150 just to see them. And NO vet around here will see an animal regardless of ability to pay - they are in it for the money. I can find the cheapest one, but not one that will help just because.
