Update!

Daytime he seems relatively fine, still has strange head movement. But, as soon as it starts getting dark, he freaks! Head flys back, and he runs, scoots, flaps himself backwards all over the pen!

I'm beside myself, don't know what else to do for him.

Have you had him on any vitamins? I would put vitamins like Avi Charge etc.. in his water and also give him some liquid vitamin E gel caps. Sometimes with injury or a vitamin deficiency these seem to help. i would think if he gets worse at night, their may be vision impairment causing some of the problem.......
