Sick pullet

I’m not sure this is my first time keeping chickens I’ve been really on top of it no hiccups this whole time, should i quaratine here back to basement?
This is what my friend gave me till corid comes tomorrow
so she was fine yesterday, i put them in the coop from the basement for their first night last night came home from work this morning and checked on em and she was very lethargic eyes closing, head in feathers, the rest are fine running around exploring there run so I’m not sure what’s wrong
wait so you hit the nail on the head, i set up a spare ring camera in the coop since i was at work, and paranoid about there first night out there, she definitely ate a few pine shavings i saw her do it, which i don’t get why, they have plenty of accessible food
I saw a bunch of them eat pine shavings here and there, which i don’t get they never did that in the brooder just when i put them in the coop
Can you get photos of her poop?

I would check her crop in the morning to make sure it's empty.

Thats the poop she took in the quarantine pen, and yes i work in nyc thank you so much, she’s sleeping now when she gets up in the morning
I will check her crop

i checked her crop this morning it is swollen and hard, should i take her vet ?
Sounds like her crop is impacted. If vet care is an option for you and they are knowledgeable about chickens, then it may be a good idea.

If not, then I would make sure she's drinking or get fluids into her. If it's impacted, then she doesn't need food right now. I would start with coconut oil and proceed as described in the article linked below.

I do recommend if you aren't already doing this - make chick grit (crushed granite) available to all of them free choice.

the vets by me don’t take chickens, i mix chick grit in there food i bought a syringe I’m gonna try and get some fluids in her just hope this works
A small syringe works best.
You can also tube fluids, but of course a little at a time so not to fill the crop too much and they aspirate.
Another option is offer just a couple of drops at a time.

If you think it's wood shavings, then I would try to get some coconut oil into her. I usually put it in the fridge to harden. For her, I would break it into small chunks, put a chunk in her beak and see if she will swallow it. Oils in liquid form don't seem to go down very well (for me).
I know it may be all overwhelming. Try the coconut oil and gently massage. Fluids when you can. If you need to, 1 stool softener (stimulant free) can be given as well. Sometimes that helps to break things up.
I'm not just going by the article which is great and written by a very experienced BYC member - I have personally done what she outlines with young and old birds.

I have never tubed a bird since I've been able to make do with syringing fluids.

Personally, I would make grit free choice instead of mixing with feed. They don't need to eat grit continually, just pick up a few pieces here and there.
