I opened the coop to let the girls out and my 15 week old Orpington wobbled out very slowly. Her back side is covered in light yellow diarrhea. It resembles pasty butt in young chicks. Her feathers are all ruffled and she’s just standing by herself with her head down. I know I will more than likely lose her, but what can I do to try and help her? So far I’ve brought her inside and washed her rear the best I could and made sure her vent isn’t blocked, like you would with new chicks. I have her in a tote with food and water, she’s just laying down with her eyes closed. She’s vaccinated for both Marek’s and Coccidiosis.

You've already taken good steps by separating her and keeping her in a safe place. Make sure she stays warm, I will sometimes add a lamp to my hospital set up while making sure it's not above 75-80ºF. Watch carefully to make sure she is actually drinking, sick chickens don't always do it on their own and can get dehydrated. If you suspect she isn't drinking, I would recommend giving her water in a dropper very slowly and carefully to make sure she doesn't aspirate it. You can also add electrolytes like sav-a-chick to the water.

She’s not drinking, I’ll try a dropper. I’ll run to Tractor Supply when my husband gets off work if she’s still with us by that time. :(
